Emily’s Signature Talk

The 100 Days of Colour

‘The 100 Days of Colour’ Experiment is a unique intersection of research involving music, technology, and psychology. It explores the relationship between subconscious and algorithmic bias through the vast beauties of music, and it is imperative that we include the project in conversations regarding A.I. ethics and the psychology of discrimination.

In this talk, Emily breaks the incentive for the experiment, how they did it, what they found, and how this applies to our lives. Given the results of recent elections and the fact that we have more elections coming up, it is crucial that we elevate people with education on how to navigate bias in online spaces and recognise how it affects our worldviews.

‘The 100 Days of Colour’ is a crucial exploration of the intersection of Humanity, Technology, Psychology, Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice, and Music. It is uniquely aligned to spark new perspectives and open the mind to unbeknownst possibilities, and it is applicable to any field and department.
